How To Install clinfo on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install clinfo
on Fedora 36.
What is clinfo
A simple OpenCL application that enumerates all possible platform and device properties. Inspired by AMD’s program of the same name, it is coded in pure C99 and it tries to output all possible information, including that provided by platform-specific extensions, and not to crash on platform-unsupported properties (e.g. 1.2 properties on 1.1 platforms).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install clinfo
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install clinfo.
Install clinfo on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install clinfo
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install clinfo
Install clinfo on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install clinfo
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install clinfo
How To Uninstall clinfo on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the clinfo
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove clinfo
