How To Install cegui on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cegui
on Fedora 36.
What is cegui
Crazy Eddie’s GUI System is a free library providing windowing and widgets for graphics APIs / engines where such functionality is not natively available, or severely lacking. The library is object orientated, written in C++, and targeted at games developers who should be spending their time creating great games, not building GUI sub-systems!
We can use yum
or dnf
to install cegui
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cegui.
Install cegui on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install cegui
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install cegui
Install cegui on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install cegui
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install cegui
How To Uninstall cegui on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the cegui
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove cegui
