How To Install bogofilter-bogoupgrade on Fedora 36

What is bogofilter-bogoupgrade
bogoupgrade is a command to upgrade bogofilter’s databases from an old format to the current format. Since the format of the database changes once in a while, the utility is designed to make the upgrade easy. bogoupgrade is in an extra package to remove the perl dependency on the main bogofilter package.
We can use yum or dnf to install bogofilter-bogoupgrade on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bogofilter-bogoupgrade.
Install bogofilter-bogoupgrade on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bogofilter-bogoupgrade using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bogofilter-bogoupgrade
Install bogofilter-bogoupgrade on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bogofilter-bogoupgrade using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install bogofilter-bogoupgrade
How To Uninstall bogofilter-bogoupgrade on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the bogofilter-bogoupgrade package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove bogofilter-bogoupgrade
