How To Install ballz on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ballz
on Fedora 36.
What is ballz
The game is a platformer with some puzzle elements. You take control of a ball which is genetically modified by the British secret service. Your mission is to rescue captured British soldiers from a prison in Iran. The game was written in 72 hours for the TINS competition, a competition similar to Speedhack. The name TINS is an recursive acronym for ‘TINS is not Speedhack’.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ballz
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ballz.
Install ballz on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install ballz
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ballz
Install ballz on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install ballz
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install ballz
How To Uninstall ballz on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the ballz
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ballz
