What is altermime
alterMIME is a small program which is used to alter MIME-encoded mailpacks. alterMIME can * Insert disclaimers * Insert arbitary X-headers * Modify existing headers * Remove attachments based on filename or content-type * Replace attachments based on filename
We can use yum
or dnf
to install altermime
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install altermime.
Install altermime on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install altermime
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install altermime

After updating yum database, We can install altermime
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install altermime
How To Uninstall altermime on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the altermime
