What is snakeyaml

In particular, SnakeYAML can parse all examples from the specification. * Unicode support including UTF-8/UTF-16 input/output. * high-level API for serializing and deserializing native Java objects. * support for all types from the YAML types repository. * relatively sensible error messages.

We can use yum or dnf to install snakeyaml on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install snakeyaml.

Install snakeyaml on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install snakeyaml using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install snakeyaml

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall snakeyaml on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the snakeyaml package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove snakeyaml
