In this tutorial we learn how to install primesieve on Fedora 34.

What is primesieve

primesieve is a program that generates primes using a highly optimized sieve of Eratosthenes implementation. primesieve can generate primes and prime k-tuplets up to 2^64.

We can use yum or dnf to install primesieve on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install primesieve.

Install primesieve on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install primesieve using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install primesieve

How To Uninstall primesieve on Fedora 34
