In this tutorial we learn how to install pnglite on Fedora 34.

What is `pnglite`

pnglite is a C library for loading PNG images. It was created as a substitute for libpng in situations when libpng is more than enough. It currently requires zlib for inflate and crc checking and it can read the most common types of PNG images. Install pnglite on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install pnglite using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install pnglite

Install pnglite on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall pnglite on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the pnglite package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove pnglite
