In this tutorial we learn how to install padthv1 on Fedora 34.

What is padthv1

padthv1 is an old-school polyphonic additive synthesizer with stereo effects. padthv1 is based on the PADsynth algorithm by Paul Nasca, as a special variant of additive synthesis. This is the standalone Jack version.

We can use yum or dnf to install padthv1 on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install padthv1.

Install padthv1 on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install padthv1 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install padthv1
