How To Install oscilloscope on Fedora 34

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install oscilloscope on Fedora 34.

What is oscilloscope

Plots stream of values read from standard input on the screen together with statistics and a histogram. Allows to instantly see how a signal generator, such as cyclictest, signaltest or even ping, reacts when, for instance, its scheduling policy or real time priority is changed, be it using tuna or plain chrt & taskset.

We can use yum or dnf to install oscilloscope on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install oscilloscope.

Install oscilloscope on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install oscilloscope using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install oscilloscope

How To Uninstall oscilloscope on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the oscilloscope package we can use the following command:
