on Fedora 34.
What is openldap
OpenLDAP is an open source suite of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) applications and development tools. LDAP is a set of protocols for accessing directory services (usually phone book style information, but other information is possible) over the Internet, similar to the way DNS (Domain Name System) information is propagated over the Internet. We can use yum
or dnf
to install openldap
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install openldap.
Install openldap on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install openldap
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install openldap
Install openldap on Fedora 34 Using yum

using the following command.

How To Uninstall openldap on Fedora 34
To uninstall only the openldap
