What is mysqlreport

mysqlreport makes a friendly report of important MySQL status values. It transforms the values from SHOW STATUS into an easy-to-read report that provides an in-depth understanding of how well MySQL is running, and is a better alternative (and practically the only alternative) to manually interpreting SHOW STATUS.

We can use yum or dnf to install mysqlreport on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mysqlreport.

Install mysqlreport on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install mysqlreport using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install mysqlreport

How To Uninstall mysqlreport on Fedora 34
