How To Install myrepos on Fedora 34

myrepos is A multiple SCM repository management tool

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install myrepos on Fedora 34.

What is myrepos

The mr command can checkout, update, or perform other actions on a set of repositories as if they were one combined repository. It supports any combination of subversion, git, cvs, mecurial, bzr and darcs repositories, and support for other revision control systems can easily be added.

We can use yum or dnf to install myrepos on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install myrepos.

Install myrepos on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install myrepos using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install myrepos

Install myrepos on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall myrepos on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the myrepos package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove myrepos
