Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install luit
on Fedora 34.
What is luit
luit is a filter that can be run between an arbitrary application and a UTF-8 terminal emulator such as xterm. It will convert application output from the locale’s encoding into UTF-8, and convert terminal input from UTF-8 into the locale’s encoding.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install luit
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install luit.
Install luit on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
