What is libapreq2

libapreq is a shared library with associated modules for manipulating client request data via the Apache API. Functionality includes parsing of application/x-www-form-urlencoded and multipart/form-data content, as well as HTTP cookies.

We can use yum or dnf to install libapreq2 on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libapreq2.

Install libapreq2 on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install libapreq2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install libapreq2
