How To Install lensfun on Fedora 34

In this tutorial we learn how to install lensfun
on Fedora 34.
What is lensfun
The lensfun library provides an open source database of photographic lenses and their characteristics. It not only provides a way to read and search the database, but also provides a set of algorithms for correcting images based on detailed knowledge of lens properties. We can use yum
or dnf
to install lensfun
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lensfun.
Install lensfun on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install lensfun
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install lensfun
Install lensfun on Fedora 34 Using yum

How To Uninstall lensfun on Fedora 34
