In this tutorial we learn how to install jpeginfo on Fedora 34.

What is jpeginfo

Jpeginfo prints information and tests integrity of JPEG/JFIF files. It can generate informative listings of .jpg files, and can also be used to test them for errors (and optionally delete broken files).

We can use yum or dnf to install jpeginfo on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jpeginfo.

Install jpeginfo on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install jpeginfo using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install jpeginfo

How To Uninstall jpeginfo on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the jpeginfo package we can use the following command:
