Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install jcal
on Fedora 34.
What is jcal
This package provides two applications for calendar calculation. jcal is a UNIX cal-like tool to display calendar based on Jalali calendar system. jdate is UNIX date-like tool to display date and time based on Jalali calendar system.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install jcal
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jcal.
Install jcal on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install jcal
