isrcsubmit is Script to submit ISRCs from disc to MusicBrainz

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install isrcsubmit on Fedora 34.

What is isrcsubmit

This python script extracts ISRCs from audio cds and submits them to MusicBrainz. Features releases with the TOC of the disc, submit discIds / TOCs, display release information from MusicBrainz, duplicate ISRC detection (local and on server), keyring support for login information.

We can use yum or dnf to install isrcsubmit on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install isrcsubmit.

Install isrcsubmit on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install isrcsubmit using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install isrcsubmit

Install isrcsubmit on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall isrcsubmit on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the isrcsubmit package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove isrcsubmit
