How To Install httpunit on Fedora 34

In this tutorial we learn how to install httpunit on Fedora 34.

What is httpunit

HttpUnit emulates the relevant portions of browser behavior, including form submission, JavaScript, basic http authentication, cookies and automatic page redirection, and allows Java test code to examine returned pages either as text, an XML DOM, or containers of forms, tables, and links. A companion framework, ServletUnit is included in the package.

We can use yum or dnf to install httpunit on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install httpunit.

Install httpunit on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install httpunit using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install httpunit

How To Uninstall httpunit on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the httpunit package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove httpunit
