In this tutorial we learn how to install hscolour on Fedora 34.

What is hscolour

Hscolour is a Haskell tool to colorize Haskell code. It currently has six output formats HTML 3.2 with tags, HTML 4.01 with CSS, HTML 4.01 with CSS and mouseover annotations, XHTML 1.0 with inline CSS styling, LaTeX, and mIRC chat codes.

We can use yum or dnf to install hscolour on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install hscolour.

Install hscolour on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install hscolour using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install hscolour

Install hscolour on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall hscolour on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the hscolour package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove hscolour
