How To Install gkrellm on Fedora 34
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gkrellm
on Fedora 34.
What is gkrellm
GKrellM charts CPU, load, Disk, and all active net interfaces automatically. An on/off button and online timer for the PPP interface is provided, as well as monitors for memory and swap usage, file system, internet connections, APM laptop battery, mbox style mailboxes, and temperature sensors on supported systems. Also included is an uptime monitor, a hostname label, and a clock/calendar. Additional features are * Autoscaling grid lines with configurable grid line resolution. * LED indicators for the net interfaces. * A gui popup for configuration of chart sizes and resolutions.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gkrellm
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gkrellm.
Install gkrellm on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install gkrellm
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install gkrellm
Install gkrellm on Fedora 34 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
