What is ghostscript
This package provides useful conversion utilities based on Ghostscript software, for converting PS, PDF and other document formats between each other. Ghostscript is a suite of software providing an interpreter for Adobe Systems’ PostScript (PS) and Portable Document Format (PDF) page description languages. We can use yum
or dnf
to install ghostscript
on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ghostscript.
Install ghostscript on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install ghostscript
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ghostscript
