Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install getdp on Fedora 34.

What is getdp

GetDP is an open source finite element solver using mixed elements to discretize de Rham-type complexes in one, two and three dimensions. The main feature of GetDP is the closeness between the input data defining discrete problems (written by the user in ASCII data files) and the symbolic mathematical expressions of these problems. getdp 3.3.0 8.fc34 x86_64 854 k getdp-3.3.0-8.fc34.src.rpm fedora General Environment for the Treatment of Discrete Problems http GPLv2+ GetDP is an open source finite element solver using mixed elements to discretize de Rham-type complexes in one, two and three dimensions. Install getdp on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install getdp using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install getdp
