What is epix

ePiX (pronounced like “epic” with a soft “k”, playing on “TeX”), a collection of command line utilities for *nix, creates mathematically accurate figures, plots, and movies using easy-to-learn syntax. The output is expressly designed for use with LaTeX.

We can use yum or dnf to install epix on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install epix.

Install epix on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh
