What is editres

editres is a tool that allows users and application developers to view the full widget hierarchy of any Xt Toolkit application that speaks the Editres protocol In addition, editres will help the user construct resource specifications, allow the user to apply the resource to the application and view the results dynamically.

We can use yum or dnf to install editres on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install editres.

Install editres on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:
