How To Install byobu on Fedora 34

In this tutorial we learn how to install byobu on Fedora 34.
What is byobu
Byobu is a Japanese term for decorative, multi-panel screens that serve as folding room dividers. As an open source project, Byobu is an elegant enhancement of the otherwise functional, plain, practical GNU Screen. Byobu includes an enhanced profile and configuration utilities for the GNU screen window manager, such as toggle-able system status notifications.
We can use yum or dnf to install byobu on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install byobu.
Install byobu on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:
