In this tutorial we learn how to install btbuilder on Fedora 34.

What is btbuilder

Bt Builder is a turn based role-playing game builder and engine in the style of the old Bard’s Tale series. It completely supports the functionality of the Bard’s Tale Construction Set. The eventual goal is to make a game builder that can implement the three main Bard’s Tale games in addition to Construction Set games.

We can use yum or dnf to install btbuilder on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install btbuilder.

Install btbuilder on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install btbuilder using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install btbuilder

Install btbuilder on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall btbuilder on Fedora 34
