Avogadro is an advanced molecular editor designed for cross-platform use in computational chemistry, molecular modeling, bioinformatics, materials science, and related areas. It offers flexible rendering and a powerful plugin architecture. The code in this repository is a rewrite of Avogadro with source code split across a libraries repository and an application repository. We can use yum or dnf to install avogadro2 on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install avogadro2.

Install avogadro2 on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install avogadro2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install avogadro2

How To Uninstall avogadro2 on Fedora 34
