on Fedora 34.
What is avahi
Avahi is a system which facilitates service discovery on a local network – this means that you can plug your laptop or computer into a network and instantly be able to view other people who you can chat with, find printers to print to or find files being shared. Install avahi on Fedora 34 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install avahi
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install avahi

using the following command.
