Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install amsynth on Fedora 34.

What is amsynth

Amsynth is a software synthesis that provides a classic subtractive synthesizer topology, with - Dual oscillators with classic waveforms - sine / saw / square / noise - 12/24 dB/octave low/high/band-pass resonant filter - Independent ADSR envelopes for filter and amplitude - LFO which can modulate the oscillators, filter, and amplitude - Distortion - Reverb

We can use yum or dnf to install amsynth on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install amsynth.

Install amsynth on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
