How To Install itk3 on Debian 11

What is itk3
itk3 is:
[incr Tk] (or itk) combines the object-oriented power of [incr Tcl] with the popular Tk graphical toolkit to create a framework for creating mega-widgets. One such set of mega-widgets is provided by the iwidgets package.
This package contains everything you need to run itk scripts and itk-enabled apps.
There are three methods to install itk3 on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install itk3 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install itk3 using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install itk3 using apt by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install itk3 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install itk3
How To Uninstall itk3 on Debian 11
To uninstall only the itk3 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove itk3
Uninstall itk3 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall itk3 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove itk3
Remove itk3 Configurations and Data
To remove itk3 configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge itk3
