How To Install haruna on Debian 11

In this tutorial we learn how to install haruna
on Debian 11.
What is haruna
haruna is:
Haruna is an open source video player built with Qt/QML on top of libmpv.
Compared with other video player frontends, it provides some special features, such as:
- play online videos, through youtube-dl
- toggle playlist with mouse-over, playlist overlays the video
- auto skip chapter containing certain words
- configurable shortcuts and mouse buttons
- quick jump to next chapter by middle click on progress bar
There are three methods to install haruna
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install haruna Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install haruna
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install haruna

After updating apt database, We can install haruna
using apt

sudo apt -y install haruna
Install haruna Using aptitude

How To Uninstall haruna on Debian 11
To uninstall only the haruna
package we can use the following command:
