How To Install gotestsum on Debian 11
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gotestsum
on Debian 11.
What is gotestsum
gotestsum is:
go test
runner with output optimized for humans, JUnit XML for CI integration, and a summary of the test run results.
gotestsum runs tests, prints friendly test output and a summary of the test run. Requires Go 1.10+.
gotestsum works by running go test –json ./… and reading the JSON output.
There are three methods to install gotestsum
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gotestsum Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
