ethflux is:

ethflux is an InfluxDB data gatherer for ethtool-style network interface information. It uses the Linux SIOCETHTOOL ioctl interface to obtain network interface statistics and other runtime data and outputs them in InfluxDB’s line protocol format for further propagation.

There are three methods to install ethflux on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ethflux Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
