Coq is a proof assistant for higher-order logic, which allows the development of computer programs consistent with their formal specification. It is developed using Objective Caml and Camlp5.
This package provides CoqIde, a graphical user interface for developing proofs.
There are three methods to install coqide
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install coqide Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install coqide
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install coqide
