How To Install capnproto on Debian 11

What is capnproto
capnproto is:
Similar to Protocol Buffers, Cap’n Proto is an efficient means of serializing structured data to be transferred across a network or written to disk. Users write a Cap’n Proto definition file that drives a code generator, which in turn emits C++ code for encoding & decoding messages in the Cap’n Proto format.
In addition to being extremely fast, Cap’n Proto also smooths over some of the rougher aspects of Protocol Buffers & introduces a number of new features to boot.
This package contains a small suite of tools for developing & maintaining your Cap’n Proto schema files, including a code generator for compiling your schema files to supported languages.
There are three methods to install capnproto on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install capnproto Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install capnproto using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install capnproto using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install capnproto using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install capnproto
How To Uninstall capnproto on Debian 11
To uninstall only the capnproto package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove capnproto
Uninstall capnproto And Its Dependencies
To uninstall capnproto and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove capnproto
Remove capnproto Configurations and Data
To remove capnproto configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge capnproto
Remove capnproto configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
