How To Install mpc on Debian 10

MPC, music player command, is a command line tool to interface MPD, Music Player Daemon. It is fast and lightweight like MPD, making it ideal for scripting commands and binding to hotkeys. Completion for the Bash shell is provided.
There are three methods to install mpc on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mpc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mpc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mpc

After updating apt database, We can install mpc using apt by running the following command:
