How To Install mblaze on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install mblaze on Debian 10.
What is mblaze
mblaze is:
The mblaze message system is a set of Unix utilities to deal with mail kept in Maildir folders. It is a classic command line MUA and has no features for receiving or transferring mail; you are expected to fetch your mail using fdm(1), getmail(1) offlineimap(1), procmail(1), or similar , and send it using dma(8), msmtp(1), sendmail(8), as provided by OpenSMTPD, Postfix, or similar. mblaze expects your mail to reside in Maildir folders.
Its design is roughly inspired by MH, the RAND Message Handling System, but it is a complete implementation from scratch. mblaze operates directly on Maildir folders and doesn’t use its own caches or databases. There is no setup needed for many uses.

There are three methods to install mblaze on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mblaze Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mblaze using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install mblaze using apt by running the following command:

Install mblaze Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install mblaze using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall mblaze on Debian 10
To uninstall only the mblaze package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mblaze
Uninstall mblaze And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mblaze and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mblaze
Remove mblaze Configurations and Data
To remove mblaze configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mblaze
