What is kuipc
kuipc is:
CERNLIB is a suite of data analysis tools and libraries created for use in physics experiments, but also with applications to other fields such as the biological sciences.
KUIPC, the Kit for a User Interface Package Compiler, is a tool to simplify the writing of a program’s user interface code. It takes a Command Definition File (CDF) as input, which describes the commands to be understood by the program, and outputs C or FORTRAN code that makes the appropriate function calls to set up the user interface. This code can then be compiled and linked with the rest of the program. Since the generated code uses KUIP routines, the program must also be linked against the Packlib library that contains them.
KUIPC is no longer actively developed, so aside from its use in the build process of CERNLIB, it is of mainly historical interest.
There are three methods to install kuipc on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kuipc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install kuipc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install kuipc
How To Uninstall kuipc on Debian 10
To uninstall only the kuipc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove kuipc
Uninstall kuipc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall kuipc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kuipc
Remove kuipc Configurations and Data
To remove kuipc configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kuipc
