How To Install gozerbot on Debian 10

What is gozerbot
gozerbot is:
Gozerbot is a channel bot that aids with conversation in IRC channels and Jabber conference rooms. It’s mainly used to send notifications (RSS, Nagios, etc.) and to provide custom commands for the channel. More then just a channel bot Gozerbot aims to provide a platform for the user to program his own bot and make it into something that’s useful. This is done with a plugin structure that makes it easy to program your own plugins. But Gozerbot comes with some batteries included, there are now over 100 plugins already written and ready for use.
There are three methods to install gozerbot on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gozerbot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gozerbot using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gozerbot
Install gozerbot Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gozerbot using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gozerbot
Install gozerbot Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install gozerbot using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gozerbot
