It is a continuation of Ross Burton’s project Devilspie, with the most significant change that the symbolic expressions of that project are replaced with a Lua interpreter.

There are three methods to install devilspie2 on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
