It works with MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files and creates a MySQL database in which it stores the information about the music files. It creates symbolic links to the actual music files based on the search results. You can search for multiple fields, like artist, band, composer, lyricist, etc.

There are three methods to install audiolink on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
