What is yelp-tools

yelp-tools is a collection of scripts and build utilities to help create, manage, and publish documentation for Yelp and the web. Most of the heavy lifting is done by packages like yelp-xsl and itstool. This package just wraps things up in a developer-friendly way.

We can use yum or dnf to install yelp-tools on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install yelp-tools.

Install yelp-tools on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install yelp-tools using dnf by running the following command:

How To Uninstall yelp-tools on CentOS 8
