How To Install yelp-libs on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install yelp-libs
on CentOS 8.
What is yelp-libs
This package contains libraries used by the yelp help browser. yelp-libs 2 3.28.1 3.el8 x86_64 108 k yelp-3.28.1-3.el8.src.rpm appstream Libraries for yelp https LGPLv2+ and ASL 2.0 and GPLv2+ This package contains libraries used by the yelp help browser.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install yelp-libs
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install yelp-libs.
Install yelp-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install yelp-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install yelp-libs
Install yelp-libs on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install yelp-libs
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install yelp-libs
How To Uninstall yelp-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the yelp-libs
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove yelp-libs
