How To Install xterm-resize on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install xterm-resize
on CentOS 8.
What is xterm-resize
Prints a shell command for setting the appropriate environment variables to indicate the current size of the window from which the command is run.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xterm-resize
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xterm-resize.
Install xterm-resize on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install xterm-resize
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install xterm-resize

How To Uninstall xterm-resize on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the xterm-resize
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove xterm-resize
