A modular screen saver and locker for the X Window System. This package contains minimal files to make screensaver hacks that require OpenGL work for XScreenSaver.

Install xscreensaver-gl-base on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install xscreensaver-gl-base using dnf by running the following command:
