What is xorg-x11-server-Xorg
X.org X11 is an open source implementation of the X Window System. It provides the basic low level functionality which full fledged graphical user interfaces (GUIs) such as GNOME and KDE are designed upon.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xorg-x11-server-Xorg
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xorg-x11-server-Xorg.
Install xorg-x11-server-Xorg on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall xorg-x11-server-Xorg on CentOS 8
