How To Install xmlsec1-gcrypt on CentOS 8

What is xmlsec1-gcrypt
GCrypt plugin for XML Security Library provides GCrypt based crypto services for the xmlsec library. xmlsec1-gcrypt 1.2.25 4.el8 x86_64 59 k xmlsec1-1.2.25-4.el8.src.rpm powertools GCrypt crypto plugin for XML Security Library http MIT GCrypt plugin for XML Security Library provides GCrypt based crypto services for the xmlsec library.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xmlsec1-gcrypt
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xmlsec1-gcrypt.
Install xmlsec1-gcrypt on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install xmlsec1-gcrypt
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install xmlsec1-gcrypt

How To Uninstall xmlsec1-gcrypt on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the xmlsec1-gcrypt
