What is xfce4-time-out-plugin
This plugin makes it possible to take periodical breaks from the computer every X minutes. During breaks it locks your screen. It optionally allows you to postpone breaks for a certain time.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xfce4-time-out-plugin
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xfce4-time-out-plugin.
Install xfce4-time-out-plugin on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
